Hickman Automotive Group History
Hickman Automotive Group is a fourth generation, family owned and operated automotive business, established in 1905 by Albert E. Hickman. Comprised of several automotive franchises in Newfoundland And Labrador and Nova Scotia, Hickman Automotive Group employs approximately 500 people in thirteen locations. Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac operates out of St Johns, with Hickman Chevrolet Buick GMC dealers located in four additional locations: Carbonear, Burin, Clarenville, and Gander (Carbonear and Burin also operate a Bodyworks facility). Our Hickman Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM FIAT dealership can also be found in the capital city, along with our Hickman Truck Centre, the authorized dealer for Volvo and Mack, Heavy Duty and Isuzu Medium Duty Truck lines. Hickman Nissan is located in Clarenville and Gander and Hickman Honda, in Grand Falls-Windsor. We are also home to the Hickman Select Certified Pre-Owned Network, operating out of ten locations, and Hickman Autospa, our vehicle detailing center operating out of Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac, along with a Customer Care Centre.
As an extension of our automotive brand, we also operate two Harley-Davidson stores, Rugged Rock Harley-Davidson and Privateers Harley-Davidson located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
